Same price as going direct, with a broker included

In Brazil, insurers pay the broker, so our comparison, paperwork and lifetime support in English cost you nothing extra. You pay the same premium and gain someone on your side for claims, reimbursements and renewals.

FAQ

Health insurance questions from expats

Which health plan gives access to Hospital Albert Einstein?+

In the premium segment, lines from Omint, Care Plus and Amil Black offer access to Einstein and other reference hospitals, always depending on the specific plan and contract. We confirm hospital-by-hospital access in your quote, in writing, before you sign.

Do I need a CPF to sign up?+

In most cases, yes. The CPF is the Brazilian tax ID and insurers use it for registration. Getting one is usually straightforward for residents, and we guide you through it as part of the process.

Individual contract or through my company?+

If you have a Brazilian company (CNPJ) or your employer contracts locally, group plans usually unlock better pricing and acceptance rules than individual contracts. We compare both paths for you.

Are pre-existing conditions covered?+

Brazilian regulation allows insurers to apply temporary partial coverage (CPT) of up to 24 months for declared pre-existing conditions, and group contracts above certain sizes may waive waiting periods. We explain exactly how the rules apply to your case before you commit.

How long do waiting periods last?+

By law (ANS rules), the maximum waiting periods are 24 hours for emergencies, up to 180 days for most procedures and up to 300 days for childbirth. Many premium and corporate contracts reduce or waive these; we negotiate this in your quote.
